Open End Clamps are of the same general construction as the preformed clamps with this exception, the double wrapping of the band around the hose or article is a part of the application. The open end clamps are used when one end or both, of the article to be clamped Is not free, or an obstruction prevents slipping a preformed clamp over the end. Open End Clamps range in size from 13/16 inch I.D. to 48 inch I.D. Galvanized Preformed Clamps 2 1 /2 Inch I.D. and above, and 5/8” wide open end clamps have a stainless steel lok for greater strength and rigidity.
